The junta has no mercy

The Junta has no mercy

The News from inside Burma is devastating. Many survivors die everyday due to the lack of clean water and food. The government is still very stubborn to accept the foreign aid. What they want is to receive food, but not experts who understand how to solve such mess. Now people are speculating millions may die if proper management does not start now. I copied following news from www.komoethee.blogspot.com

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Up to 1.5 million cyclone survivors in Myanmar could die if clean water and sanitation are not provided to them, an international aid organisation has said.
An Oxfam official said the toll from the May 3 cyclone could eventually be 15 times higher than their latest estimate of 100,000.
Sarah Ireland, Oxfam's regional chief, said "all the factors" existed for a public health crisis.

The warning came after Myanmar's government pushed ahead with a controversial referendum despite international appeals for the ruling military to focus on relief efforts.
